Welcome to Pixie Paints, where whimsy and creativity come to life!
Inspired by the mischievous and playful nature of pixies, we encourage your little ones to explore, create, and discover in a world full of magic. At Pixie Paints, we offer a selection of weekend classes for toddlers, preschoolers, and young school-aged children, allowing them to dive into their senses through singing, moving, art and sensory play. Our classes are designed to spark curiosity, promote imagination, and foster joy.
With a touch of enchantment, we invite you to experience the playful spirit of Pixie Paints, where artful adventures await!
Meet the Artists
Miss Jay
Owner & Lead Instructor
Mr. Kostya
Music Man & Assistant Teacher
Miss Jay graduated with a B.A. in Studio Art from Marymount Manhattan College and is currently working towards her Early Ed. masters degree at Hunter College. She has been an educator for 10 years, working with toddlers, elementary and high school students, but her main love is early childhood education. Miss Jay loves being able to experience the world anew through the eyes of our smallest artists each day. Outside of Pixies, you can find her painting, designing costumes or baking.
Konstantin Kahl, is freelance artist born and raised in New York City, and currently making his home in Bushwick, Brooklyn. While he’s dabbled in just about every visual arts medium he could get his hands on throughout his life, since graduating from Hampshire College in 2016 he’s been focusing largely on digital art, sculpture, and Special FX makeup. In his free time Konstantin enjoys playing video games, rollerblading, and reading sci-fi books and comics. Outside of Pixies, you can probably find him making a costume for Halloween with Miss Jay.
